Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Platform Engineering position.



Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to all aspects of the deployment and maintenance of the infrastructure of the platform ecosystem at internet scale
Provide technical leadership for cloud infrastructure solutions and manage technical project development
Troubleshoot issues in the infrastructure stack, plan platform versions and upgrades, and ensure system security


Qualifications and Education:

Master's degree in CS or related field, or a Bachelor's degree with industry experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering
4+ years of experience in building consumer-facing products with large distributed systems deployed in the cloud
7 years of software development experience on high-scale projects, ability to write code in multiple languages, and experience in SAAS or e-commerce
Experience in designing databases, building resilient, scalable, and secure shared infrastructure, and working with Docker/Kubernetes
Experience with Domain Driven Design (DDD), Infrastructure as Code, automation, and a Design First approach to infrastructure development
