Location: Tarzana, CA Employment Type: Temporary Job Description:
Providence Tarzana Medical Center is seeking a Patient Access
Representative to join the Main Admitting team. This role will
support patient intake , insurance verification , and assist with
patient transport to various departments as needed. The ideal
candidate will have strong administrative skills, excellent
customer service, and experience working in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and register patients upon arrival
Verify insurance coverage (HMO, PPO, Tri-Care, Medi-Cal, Medicaid)
Assist with patient intake and scheduling appointments Provide
administrative support and accurate data entry Coordinate patient
transport to different departments Utilize Epic for patient records
and registration Required Skills: Patient access and registration
Medical terminology Insurance verification Customer service Data
entry and scheduling Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic
(highly preferred) Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Tri-Care, Medi-Cal, and
Medicaid Strong organizational and communication skills Experience
Level: Expert Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based
out of Tarzana, CA 91356. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this
position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to
some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length
