Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in Burbank,
IL, is seeking qualified Behavior Specialists and Board Certified
Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to support special education classrooms
within a cooperative educational setting. This contract position is
available for the current school year (CSY), offering the
opportunity to work with students in an AERO special education
cooperative environment. Responsibilities: Implement and oversee
behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
Collaborate with educators, therapists, and support staff to
promote positive behavioral outcomes. Conduct functional behavior
assessments and data analysis to guide interventions. Provide
training and support to school personnel and families regarding
behavior strategies. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure
compliance with educational standards. Qualifications: Valid
certification as a Behavior Specialist, with preference for
candidates holding BCBA credentials. Experience working within K-12
educational settings, particularly in special education. Strong
understanding of behavior assessment and intervention techniques.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work
effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage
multiple cases and maintain detailed records. Location: Burbank,
