Job Description:
Primary Talent Partners has a 11-month contract opening for a
PART-TIME Project Management Specialist to join a large
pharmaceutical company for a position operating out of Irvine,
CA.

Pay: $50 - $55/hr, based on experience
Contract: 11 months, extensions likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide visa sponsorship
Schedule: 20hr/week, flexible hours and on-site
Position Summary:
The Project Management Specialist will support project planning,
execution, and tracking by managing budgets, purchase orders, and
schedules. The role also involves creating and updating project
documentation, presentations, and visual tools to ensure project
alignment and successful delivery. This role will be supporting the
Upstream Research & Technology Program. Experience in the medical
device industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Management: Track and manage project budgets, ensuring
accurate allocation and expenditure.
PO Management: Oversee purchase order processes, including
creation, tracking, and reconciliation.
Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules,
updating timelines as needed.
Deliverable Monitoring: Track due dates and follow up on
outstanding tasks to ensure timely completion.
Presentation Support: Assist in creating and formatting PowerPoint
presentations to support project updates and reporting.
Gantt Chart Management: Create and update Gantt charts to visually
represent project timelines and progress.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business
Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in project coordination or management support
roles.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and
Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
effectively.
Knowledge of medical device development processes and regulatory
requirements (preferred).
Preferred Skills: Experience with budget tracking and PO
management.
Familiarity with Gantt chart creation and maintenance.
Strong presentation skills and proficiency in PowerPoint.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Understanding of medical device industry standards and
terminology.
