Position: Accounting TechnicianLocation: Long Beach, CA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote)Pay: $18/hr - $28/hr (depending on experience)Experience: Previous accounting or related experienceType: Full-time; ContractSchedule: Monday - Friday, Day ShiftHB Staffing is seeking an Accounting Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Handle direct AP payments that do not have purchase orders (i.e. travel expenses or employee reimbursements).Review company policies to ensure that employee claims are within policies and guidelines.Handle additional direct payments (i.e. property tax payments, conference registration fees, and sponsorships).Assist with PO-related invoices as needed.Review contracts before making payments.Maintain a daily invoice volume between 15-20 a day.Position Requirements:Familiarity with accounting systems to use Munis.Excel experience for basic data entry is a plus!Strong attention to detail.Effectively work independently and as part of a team.Must be proactive when it comes to problem-solving and critical thinking.HB Staffing does not just connect you with a job; we offer a Professional Mentoring & Education Program to help you be great at your job, love it, and grow.
