Job Description Job Description PURPOSE OF POSITION: To recruit and interview qualified employees who will support Goodwill's services and business objectives and ensure the quality of the overall hiring process. Responsibilities include focusing on the recruitment of qualified individuals with disabilities and minorities, working closely with managers and supervisors to identify the most effective methods of recruitment to meet their needs, and develop viable relationships with organizations in the community to ensure timely and quality staffing within the organization. Will also coordinate the "Mission Integration" program in relationship to the development and maintenance of "community partnerships" and will coordinate the placement of referred program participants into job opportunity training positions. Assess current recruitment activities and develop creative, alternative recruitment-related data. Complete required reports and surveys and manage all administration related and providing back-up to other positions as needed. MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred in a related field. Three years interviewing and recruiting experience: exempt, nonexempt, and hourly positions. Some generalist experience in human resources preferred. Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Effective verbal communications and interpersonal skills. Effective written communication skills with good Grammar and English. PC proficiency. Experience in Word, Excel, and HRIS systems preferred. OTHER: Ability to communicate effectively to facilitate recruitment process at all levels within the organization. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision, ability to accept responsibility, take initiative, problem solve and exercise and good judgment. Position also requires flexibility and adaptability in order to handle interruptions and changing priorities. Requires ability to maintain confidential information.
