Position Summary and Responsibilities
* The Technician, Engineer 2 will be responsible for Trouble
Shoot, Repair, and Maintenance of In-house built and purchased Test
Equipment. ATE Systems,Life Test Units, and other testers. Power
Supplies, Meters, Controllers, Ovens, Furnaces, Monitors, ETC.
* Must be able to read schematics, blueprints, and procedures to
Repair and Calibrate equipment.
* Modifications to In-House Test Equipment, and Documentation
generation, Schematics, and Procedures.using CAD and WORD
* Must communicate well with Supervisor and all team members.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and
* Must be able to lift 25-50lbs and follow safety
* Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle/feel, reach with
hands/arms, in addition must be able to sit, climb, and stoop.
* Candidate must have previous CAD experience/knowledge.
* Repairing of equipment used in the manufacturing of Electrical
Mechanical Relays. * Test Fixtures and Equipment used to test and
inspect EMR devices. * Assemble new electronic equipment and test
equipment to blue prints and drawings. * Clean-up and organize the
tech work area and label equipment/tools.
* Typically requires a minimum of 1-2 years related experience.
* AA degree or equivalent preferred. * Must have good oral and
written communications skills to be able to communicate all issues
to Lead/Manager immediately. * Must have knowledge of basic math
principles (addition, subtraction, decimals, and fractions). * Be
able to work with small parts and microscope. * Be vigilant that
work areas are organized with essential tools calibrated and usable
(fixtures, tweezers, cutters). * Cross-train in the departments
functions. * Work with Production and Engineering personnel when
production problems arise to trouble shoot. * Acquire job skills
and learn company policies, rules/regulations and safety
procedures. * Ensure that all department records, charts and logs
are sequenced and correctly completed/monitored/ compliant to
drawings/ specifications and procedures. * Learn to identify areas
to eliminate scrap and waste for cost savings, and to learn to
recognize deviations from accepted standards. * Organize and keep
historical purchasing information to facilitate future inquiries. *
Must be able to lift 25-50lbs and follow safety procedures. * Must
