Job Description:
A company is looking for a Facility Coding Inpatient Complex
Coder.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical records to accurately code diagnostic and
procedural information
Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes, ensuring complete
records
Provide coding quality assurance and compliance with regulatory
standards
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent training in medical record
keeping
Active certification as CCS, COC, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
Three or more years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care
facility
Knowledge of ICD CM and PCS coding principles
Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with coding
software
